Pumpkin Patch

I think this is my favorite thing to do with the kids each year.  It’s outside, the weather is still nice, a variety of things to do, the girls LOVE it and the weather is still nice.   After having so much fun last year, we headed back to Walter’s Pumpkin Patch this year.

First up was the corn maze.  The girls led the way and we were actually out of it pretty quick.  You could tell the corn was affected by the heat of the summer, we could see over the stalks easily.  Last year, the stalks were taller than me!

More fun was had on the giant jumping pillow, the underground slide and the swings!  The girls could have spent all day on the slides and jumping pillow. 

 

Finally, we rode the wagon out to the pumpkin fields.  Mildred, the dog, rode with us and Laney was in heaven! The girls loved roaming around the field looking at all the different shapes, sizes and colors of pumpkins!
