The week of Easter was filled with activities for the girls…decorating, hunting and skating! We had so much fun doing it all!
We started off by having a mid-week play date with Maci and Mackenzie. I had picked up a cupcake pan a few weeks ago (Wilton, from Goodwill, 99 cents) that baked egg shaped cakes. I whipped up some cupcakes and set out multiple colors of frosting and sprinkles for the girls to decorate. They were SO excited, but I’m not sure if they were more excited to decorate or to eat!
On Friday evening we had an Easter Egg Hunt with our neighbors. We enjoyed pizza, a craft and an egg hunt with close to 150 eggs for 5 KIDS!!!! Needless to say, we have enough Easter candy to last us for quite a bit! The kids in the cul-de-sac have so much fun together and it is so much fun to watch them grow together.
Saturday had us heading to Lawrence for the day to spend time with Kevin’s family. We had a great time hanging out with everyone enjoying good food, another egg hunt and Easter baskets!
On Sunday, we spent the day together as a family and it was wonderful. We played ball, ate more good food and played with the present the Easter Bunny left…ROLLER SKATES!!!
