This morning we had a family day at the zoo. And by family, I mean the whole clan: Nana, Papa, Gaga, Meggy, Landon, Claire and the four of us. Lucy pretty much acted as our tour guide, as she knows the zoo like the back of her hand now.
Most of the animals were pretty quiet today, except for the geese which once again had a ruffle in their feathers. The lion cubs were out chewing on bones with their mama, while daddy napped on the big rock. Laney enjoyed getting out of her stroller to watch the turtles in the amphibian building. She stood up watching one until it crawled all the way over to the glass right in front of her, then she quickly scattered back to Kevin. I love how she is starting to notice the animals and pay attention.
