Lucy went to Nana's house this morning while I was at work and Kevin went to hit, throw and lift and decided that she wanted to make something. Nana kept asking her, "What do you want to make?" and she finally came to the conclusion that she wanted to bake a cake. Nana got everything together and got her cake pan out. "Not a big cake, those little cakes," was Lucy's response to seeing the big cake pan. So, cupcakes it was.
Lucy helped mix, stir and pour the batter and then patiently waited for the cupcakes to bake. After they came and cooled, she told Nana that they needed something on top. Nana told her that she did not have anything for the top, i.e. frosting, and Lucy proceeded to lose it. She is very strong willed and everything needs to be done the right way. After no luck looking up ways to make frosting, Nana remembered she had miniature Reese's cups and Kisses. Perfect, they would just pop those in the top.
So, Lucy diligently unwrapped each piece of candy, ate the cake from where Nana had dug a little hole for it, and placed it in! She was so excited to bring them home for Mommy and Daddy to eat, and Mommy and Daddy were very excited to eat them! They are YUMMY!!!

Congratulations to Kevin for making such a wonderful and difficult decision playing for the Wignuts (is that right?) :) Congrats on the new house, post more pictures! Lucy sure is getting big!
