Laney is now 18 months old and is following in her big sister's footsteps. She loves to play dress up, cook in her kitchen and take care of her baby dolls. The picture of Lucy with her baby dolls above is from almost 2 years ago...she was 2 1/2. No matter what Lucy is doing, Laney pretty much wants to be doing the same. She is starting to talk lots more and putting words and phrases together. Our favorite is when she wants more of something and will just yell in her highchair "more mama, more mama." Other things she says are "bankee" for blanket, "ewesee" for Lucy, "ball", "anta" for Santa. She also has distinct sounds for reindeer, snowman and lots of other things. She also makes noises for all types of animals--duck, snake, cow, dog, tiger, pig and probably even more!
Laney is a girl who knows what she wants, and if she doesn't get it she will let you know. She can best be described as fiery, spunky, loud, a total crack-up and a lovebug. She loves to be the center of attention and knows what it takes to be it!
